Fried soy mince, courgette, garlic, red onion, and tomato with basil, on a bed of tortiglioni with broccoli. All drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Yum.
Terrible photo quality.

I'm Vegan and Proud
I love cooking and I want to share my passion for delicious healthy vegan food with you.
Too many people think we just live on "like, twigs and salad and rabbit food" and we need to prove them wrong by showing them all the delicious food we can eat
:)

i want to start a fucking commune!
This thought has crossed my mind.
mine too! many times.
The book ‘vegan freak’ actually has a part about this. The general point that make is that no matter how many times you think, my life would be so much better, happier, and easier if I just lived in a commune with like minded people, but we need to be out there, among other people, reminding them that vegans aren’t hippy freaks, we are smart normal people (well, most of us) and have a point that needs to be listened too.
And sometimes, it is indeed neccessary to get your preach on.
get around to posting a recipe for the fried chicken style seitan I made next week.
I’m going to experiment and make a few batches and see if it works best to oven bake first/freeze first/let rest in the frigde etc etc.
Also going to play with herbs and stuff.
Also, I plan on making popcorn chicken style bites.
Watch this space, because this stuff tastes awesome :)
I made ‘Southern fried chicken pieces’.
I think it is the best thing I have ever cooked.
We ate them so quick there wasn’t even time for photos..
Canada Approves Enviropig™, Piglets Inherit Genetic Modifications for Clean Manure (click picture for article)
OH SWEET, THANKS SCIENTISTS! This is just what is needed in the food chain; genetically modified animals. HOW SAFE DOES THAT SOUND? STOP FUCKING WITH NATURE!
What the fuck. I just googled this to find out more about it. This is disgusting. I can just imagine the board meeting for this..
“Oh look, meat production is really bad for the environment. Do you think we should try to limit meat consumption (which is, incidentally, causing heart disease and obesity)?”
“No, lets just spend a whole load of taxpayer money experimenting on them to make a GM pig instead. THAT’S the way to fix the environment!”

The World Health Organization recommends that the average adult consume 28-35 grams of protein each day. The average American delivers well over 100 grams of protein to his or her body each day, and that might be the reason for our high rates of cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, asthma, and diabetes.
